Prosperity Eating Disorders and Wellness Center
A small business website focused distributing information for both locations of the Prosperity Eating Disorder and Wellness Center. They had an outdated and slow-moving site and needed a refresh. The biggest challenge of designing this site was accomplishing a new, fresh, and professional feel while maintaining the personality of their original site. Also, taking their existing content and giving it a new and more intuitive layout took a lot of trial and error. Fully responsive.
Ann’s Butterfly Effect
An e-commerce shop site focused on selling African and nature- inspired jewelry. The biggest strength of this site is the ability for the client to consistently update it with new products, reorganizing categories, and discount certain products. It uses WooCommerce and PayPal for a smooth and simple payment process. Includes logo and branding design by Allie Nimmons Creative. Fully responsive.
A small business website focused on helping Glades Bassin, a local fishing tours company, give out information and book trips. The biggest strength of this site is the earthy, professional, fun vibe. The design had to remain true to the level of quality a Glades Bassin client will receive on their trip, but also support a fun and family-friendly vibe. Fully responsive with a handy call-now button on mobile.
Always Mother’s Luncheon
An organization website, focused on an annual event in Dallas, Texas. The biggest strength of this site is the versatility. The client needed to be able to keep a consistent layout and design, but the site also needed to evolve as the event grew and changed year after year. Fully responsive.
Blog website for a sci-fi writer in Miami, Florida. This project was unique as I typically design business or marketing sites instead of pure blogs. This was also meant to be a masculine design in tone rather than the women-centric audiences most projects have me focus on. Optimized for reading long sections of text more easily. Fully responsive.
Savannah Gift Box
E-Commerce shop website for a Savannah, Georgia wedding planner who also sells custom Savannah-inspired gift boxes and favors. This project was the most complex e-commerce shop I’ve built and contains a custom box builder, which was accomplished using a WooCommerse extension. Fully responsive.
Focused Business Coaching
Multi-purpose small business website for a business coach and consultant. One of the biggest challenges for this site was designing a layout and flow that could be changed, adapted, and added-to over time easily by the client. Her services and events are constantly changing, so she needed to be able to add new content and pages that still fit with the overall flow of the site. Fully responsive.
Mental Break Mobile
A small business website for a unique escape room experience that travels from place to place. The most fun and challenging aspect of this project was keeping the maze-like theme throughout without coming across as childish or goofy. There is also a sophisticated scheduling system that is set up with a combination of Acuity and Google Calender. Fully responsive.
Six Degrees Pilates
A small business website for a pilates and yoga studio in New Jersey. The most fun part of this design and build was making the site reflect the newly refurbished, updated, and expanded location. Full-screen images on some pages and an airy layout on others helped accomplish that. Fully responsive.
Simplicity Social Media
A simple small business website for a social media manager from Seattle, Washington. The biggest challenge of this site was helping the client zoom in on her ideal visitor and create the ideal experience for that person. The business was undergoing changes and transformations during the design process, so I had to flex my muscles as a project manager more than ever. Fully responsive.
